Graphite Heatsinks

Graftech Inc. manufactures eGraf™ products as unique solutions to the problem of heat buildup in high-powered electronic devices , The eGraf electronic thermal management product family includes interface materials and thermal management components. Versatile eGraf components can be tailor-made to the exacting thermal conductivity, strength, and thermal expansion characteristics specified by today's cutting edge designers with significant weight reduction and design flexibility.


eGraf thermal management materials are unique because they combine excellent thermal conductivity with the directional properties of graphite. Compared to typical aluminum alloys used for heat management, eGraf components exhibit up to 120 % higher thermal conductivity with values comparable to copper (~ 400 W/mK) attainable. Further, aluminum and copper are isotropic, making it impossible to modify the conductivity in a preferred direction. With the thermal conductivity of eGraf materials as high as 460 W/mK along the length and width, and as low as 2 W/mK through the thickness, packaging components can be designed so that heat is quickly transferred away from delicate electronics.

All Graftech heatspreaders and heat sinks are UL94V0 rated. The highest flammability rating available.
