AVS - 1000 SERIES |
|
| |
| Air Velocity Sensors |
| |
| If you are looking for a product
to continuously monitor airflow, then you are
in the right place! To continuously measure air
velocity with a linear output, the AVS-1000 Series
is a good starting point. For an on/off switch
based on an air velocity trip point, then the
300T Series is a good option. The TP Series of
Temperature Switches is an air temperature switch
with either single or dual temperature trip points.
Lastly, if none of the above meet your needs,
then a custom product may be the most appropriate
solution. |
| |
| Key Features |
| |
- Non-directional or bi-directional air velocity
sensing.

| The AVS 1000 Series is an air
velocity sensor designed to measure low velocity.
The remote sensing head allows for measurement
of airflow in small and confined locations.
Designed as an embedded product, the AVS 1000
thermistor-based sensor has long-term stability
and durability. The AVS 1000 Series is ideal
for cleanrooms and VAV controls. Available linear
outputs include 0-10V or 4-20 mA.
The AVS Series of airflow sensors is designed
to directly measure airflow for embedded locations,
such as cleanrooms, ductwork, and VAV systems.
Directly obtaining airflow measurements eliminates
the need for pressure pickup devices and conversion
of pressure measurements to an airflow reading.
The remote sensor allows the user to obtain
measurements in small or tight locations, while
the all solid-state technology gives the sensor
stability and ruggedness. The processing electronics
inside the AVS Series performs temperature compensation
and linearization of output. |

| The Series 300 Airflow Switch
is a line of solid-state highly reliable electronic
switches, designed to monitor airflow in critical
environments such as cleanrooms, semiconductor
fabrication facilities, and operating rooms
as well as in traditional electronic enclosures
to warn of cooling degradation. These compact,
easy-to-install units detect loss of airflow
below a pre-programmed setpoint, and provide
a fast and distinct warning of airflow deterioration.
Designed to replace traditional “sail” or “vane”
switches, the Series 300 offers unparalleled
resistance to shock and vibration. The Series
300 may be either uni-directional or bi-directional.
The uni-directional model discriminates between
forward and reversed airflow, indicating a fault
if the airflow direction reverses. The bi-directional
model accepts airflows from either of two opposing
directions.
The output of the Series 300 can be used to
drive computer logic or it can activate alarms,
relays or other circuits. Normally-open and
normally-closed versions are available. |

TP SERIES |
|
| |
| Precise Air Temperature Switches |
| |
| Key Features |
| |
- Single or dual temperature trip points
- Accuracy is ±1 deg. C for each trip
point
- All solid-state technology
- Hysteresis-free for greater precision
- Choice of normally-open or normally-closed
outputs
- Unobstrusive design
- 3 mounting packages available
- Compatible with TTL, CMOS and other logic
Available in standard or customized versions |

| Developed for precise monitoring
of ambient air temperatures, these all solid-state
switches are a highly reliable alternative to
mechanical thermostats. Standard operating temperature
range extends from 0 to 70°C (TP Series) and
from -20°C to 85°C (TPH Series). Typical
applications include plenum or cooling air intake
and duct work, upstream or downstream of card
cages, power supplies and filters. |
