About

Overview

European Thermodynamics is committed to delivering high integrity thermal solutions through excellence in design and innovation. For over 15 years, we have worked with companies across the globe, large and small, to deliver state-of-the-art thermal management solutions. We pride ourselves on providing a full service, from initial problem definition through to the supply of high performance thermal components. European Thermodynamics design, analyse and test all components using the latest software and machinery to ensure that client performance requirements are consistently achieved.

History

Starting out as a distributor of thermal management products in 2001, European Thermodynamics then began to develop in-house solutions for clients who needed particular and precise results. Our clients choose to work with us because of our specialist and expert knowledge in the field of thermal management. We have worked with various companies on product development projects and thermal analysis consultations. See some of our recent client projects for more information.

In 2007, the company began R&D projects on thermoelectric energy harvesting, innovative production methods and novel thermoelectric generator design and last year, we introduced our first own brand – Adaptive®, a range of products including thermal controllers, assemblies and power generation modules.

A Global Company

European Thermodynamics now offers a highly competitive thermal modelling and analysis service so solutions can be trialled & optimised for maximum results and although most of our business is bespoke, we do offer a large range of standard products through national distribution.

European Thermodynamics have partnerships all over the globe, these strategic alliances allow us to develop innovative and cost saving production methods whilst serving more markets around the world.

Research and Development

The company’s in-house research and development teams are now working on advanced assemblies with higher coefficient of performance (COP), the bulk manufacture of thermoelectric generators and new thermoelectric materials to replace those that are already available in the market.

The projects have led to us working with world-leading researchers, Russell Group Universities and top Global Companies including TATA Steel, Jaguar Land Rover and Rolls-Royce Marine.
