Hunter project reaches halfway stage

Synthesis of doped p-type BixSb2-xTe3 materials is progressing with spark plasma sintering (SPS) being employed as the sub-scale up consolidation process. The impact of dopant type and consolidation conditions on the thermoelectric performance is being investigated along with the incorporation of nano-inclusions such as graphene.
Work on the synthesis, consolidation and evaluation of doped n-type Bi2Te3-xSex materials has now been initiated.
